Principal's Update
Quarter 1 ended today. Grades will be finalized in Powerschool on Tuesday by the end of the day. Oak Prairie does not send home paper report cards, but if you would like one, please call the office to request one. Make sure you check Powerschool for your Quarter 2 classes, teachers and locations.
Parent Teacher Conferences are right around the corner! Scheduling for individual conferences will open on Monday, October 21st, at 8:00am using the Meet the Teacher platform. See the attached letter for more information on signing up and using the platform.
The Student Council sponsored Fright Fest is next Friday, October 25th, from 7:00-9:00pm. Permission slips and $7 are due on Tuesday, October 22nd. Students must have passed all classes for Quarter 1 and be in good behavioral standing to attend this event.

Cross Country Heading to State!
On Saturday, the cross country team competed in their IESA Sectional Meet. Both the girls and boys teams finished second, which has qualified them for the IESA State Meet! The following runners finished in the top 10 of their races: Sadie Eissing, Lucy Schroeder, Eli Zimmerman, and Braden Klacko. The State Meet is this Saturday in Normal, IL.
ILMEA Band, Jazz and Chorus Honorees
We are excited to announce that three Oak Prairie Band Students and four Alumni auditioned and were selected to the ILMEA District 1 Chorus, Bands, Orchestras and Jazz Ensembles.
