This is our last TMS Community newsletter of the school year. We want to thank all of our families for a phenomenal school year! It is our pleasure at TMS to be a part of all of our families' lives and to be able to support these kids as they grow every year!

The TMS Office will be open during the entirety of the month of June from 7:40-12:15, so if families have any needs over the summer, feel free to reach out during those hours.

As long as students are here on Tuesday, locker cleanout and iPad turn-in will take place for all students. Parents of students with library books also received communication about books that are missing from the Media Center.

We look forward to seeing everyone today! If you have not pre-checked in, a friendly reminder that the Main entrance doors to the MS open at 12:30 and you will have to bring an ID. If you ARE pre-checked in, Door G (see below!) will open at 12:40 for families!

Sixth graders in Civics class recently talked about our civics responsibility to vote. The state of Indiana asks civic students to "examine ways by which citizens bring about change through voting and participation in the election process (6.CIV.14). Students were asked to encourage citizens to vote (and their future selves) by inscribing encouraging messages on river rocks. Students were allowed to keep their rocks or donate them to hide in throughout Tipton Community.

Mrs. Cole was so grateful for community support for her Rock the Vote project - if you are interested in supporting TMS classrooms, individual teachers can set up Amazon Wishlists, and do not be surprised if you see some of those show up from time to time! Your unexpected generosity and support of our classrooms means so much!

As this is our last newsletter of the year, we at TMS wanted to let families know about iLearn Rescores for constructed response items. Following Indiana code, once families receive those iLearn scores, all families must be provided an opportunity to, following Department of Education processes, request to view and, if desired, request a rescore of constructed items.
