2021-22 SCS DISTRICT OPERATING PROCEDURES
MUSTANG SPOTLIGHT - MRS. CYNTHIA WILSON, BUS DRIVER & AIDE - SCS TRANSPORTATION
Mrs. Cynthia Wilson has been a bus driver and bus aide in our District since 2008. Mrs. Wilson has also been a substitute monitor at Albion Middle School and Kinsner Elementary. She is a resident of Strongsville and has three children who are graduates of SHS.
“People tend to think that all we do is drive students to and from school. I feel we have a greater purpose than just being a bus driver. I have high expectations for my riders in regards to respect for one another, in their choice of words spoken, in the following of mandated safety rules, along with being punctual and accountable for their actions. These life skills, such as being punctual, respecting others, and following rules, will carry beyond the years that they travel to and from school on a bus. I take great pride in knowing that riding on my bus is helping them become responsible citizens,” said Mrs. Wilson.
“We have an awesome transportation team. We all pitch in to help wherever is needed and make sure we all are working together for the overall goal of getting students to and from school in the safest and most efficient way possible.”
Thank you Mrs. Wilson for your commitment to not only safely transporting our students, but also helping make sure our students grow into positive, productive young adults! #WeAreStrongsville
3=FREE FOR LUNCHES THROUGHOUT OUR DISTRICT
Did you know that students who pack their lunch can still receive FREE food items at school? Even if you are sending your student to school with food from home, they are still able to receive a fruit, vegetable, and milk for FREE! It's convenient and saves money for families - just pack the main item for lunch and let SCS Food Services take care of the rest!
SHS SENIOR ANTHONY GRECOL PLACES 2nd IN RECENT WRESTLING INVITATIONAL
