Save the Date! Open House for Parents!
Below is information regarding Taunton High School's Open House Night for Parents/Guardians, which will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Open House Night is an event for parents/guardians; it is an excellent opportunity for parents/guardians to hear from their child’s teachers on expectations for the upcoming school year. Teachers will speak for ten minutes about course expectations and how their class will be structured for this upcoming school year.
The schedule will be as follows:
6:05-6:15 pm: Period A
6:21-6:31 pm: Period B
6:38-6:48 pm: Period C
6:55-7:05 pm: Period D
7:12 -7:22pm: Period E
7:29-7:39 pm: Period F
You must know your child’s schedule, including room locations for each course listed above. If you ask your child to email their schedule to you, our staff can help you navigate the building. We have also attached a template for you to have your children fill out for you.
Parking Stickers
This year, student drivers must have a parking sticker if they drive to school. To register for a parking sticker, students must see their House Office Administrative Assistant during the first two school days to fill out a form and pick up a pass. The form is also attached below. Students will receive their parking decal within 7 school days, from their Period A teacher. Parking decals need to be visible on their car each day.
Johnson and Johnson Internships
This summer, several Taunton High School students had the opportunity to participate in a six-week internship with Johnson & Johnson as part of their Emerging Leaders Program. During the program, students were paired with mentors and immersed in various projects across departments such as research and development, supply chain, operations, and marketing. The goals of the internship were to build awareness and confidence in corporate life, develop technical skills through cross-functional work, and help students craft a professional identity. We are deeply appreciative of our partnership with Johnson & Johnson, which has provided our students with this invaluable experience, equipping them with skills and insights that will benefit their future careers.
Back to School Paperwork
We are excited to announce that all back-to-school paperwork will be submitted online this year!
SchoolMint’s Re-Registration system will streamline our annual back-to-school paperwork, making the process more efficient and eco-friendly.
This process can be completed with a smartphone, tablet, Chromebook, or any other type of computer.

Thank you to our students in Active Minds! Active Minds is a student organization committed to supporting adults who struggle with mental illness and providing a safe resource for anyone in need. In preparation for the first day of school, students in Active Minds wrote positive messages at the entrance to welcome our students back from summer vacation!
Grade 8 Orientation
We had an amazing turnout from our Grade 8 students who showed up with enthusiasm for the Grade 8 Orientation event on Friday, August 23rd. Over 60 Link Crew mentors and seven staff members helped our Grade 8 students transition through a formal mentoring program.
