MUSTANG WRESTLING - RUMBLE ON THE RED RESULTS
Your Mustang wrestling team takes 2nd place by 1 1/2 pts to the #1 ranked team in Nebraska! They had a great tournament with 7 placers, 4 finalists and 2 Champs!

NEWS
ACT PRACTICE SESSION FOR JUNIORS: The ACT practice session today is for Reading with Ms. Runnals. Meet in Room 109 right after school. Sign up here: Free Strategy Sessions.
BADMINTON CLUB: The badminton club information meeting is today after school in the Forum. If you have questions, contact the Co-Captains Eli Moua, Emily Ren, or Lucas Brady.
ALPINE SKI: The skis are waxed and the Mounds View alpine team is ready for fast times down the hill! The team races on Tuesday (1/7) in their first Conference Race of the season. Go Mustangs!
GIRLS BASKETBALL: The Girls Basketball Team starts off 2025 with an away game at White Bear Lake at their new north campus location on Tuesday (1/7). Tip-off is at 7:00 PM. Then theyāre back at home on Friday (1/10). Tip off on Kauls Court is at 7:00 PM. Itās MVBA Night on Friday. All MVBA players in uniform get in free! Hope to see you there! Go Mustangs! ALL-1N!
MUSTANG BOYS BASKETBALL
The team is 7-2 and will face two conference games this week: Tuesday (1/7) at home against White Bear Lake and Friday (1/10) on the road at Forest Lake. Both contests begin at 7:00 PM. Follow the team at www.mvhsboysbasketball.com.

FENCING CLUB
Mounds View fencing club is starting their winter season. Come join us on Wednesday (1/15) at 3:30 PM in the forum for the info meeting about the winter season! Experience the thrill of fencing!

PRE-AUDITION DANCE WORKSHOP - MEAN GIRLS
MVHS theater is offering a pre-audition dance workshop on Saturday (1/18) from 9:00-11:00 AM. The workshop will teach Mean Girls choreo, as well as an introduction to tap (no experience necessary!) Everyone planning to audition for Mean Girls is encouraged to attend, especially if you'd like to be a featured dancer in the show. Bring water, comfortable clothes, and tap shoes, if you have them. Registration isn't required, but we'd like a rough estimate of attendees, so fill out this form, if you plan on joining.

Seniors...take some time over break to apply for the Equity Scholarship. The scholarship deadline is fast approaching on January 10th! See your dean, if you have any questions.
SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY - CLASS OF 2025
The Mounds View Equity Promise Scholarship application is open. This is the only LOCAL scholarship program open to ALL seniors, so every senior at Mounds View should apply! You can find information and an application link here. If you have any questions, see your dean. The deadline to complete the application is Friday (1/10).
SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY - CLASS OF 2025
The Wallin Scholarship application is open. This scholarship is for any student who will be attending a 4 year school in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin or any HBC school. The scholarship is worth up to $16,000 over 4 years of college. There are requirements to be eligible for scholarships.

SENIORS/PARENTS: It is officially graduation year! 2025 and time to register your student for the senior party!!
