This Week's News
I hope everyone is having an amazing summer break! Here are a few notes for this week as we move into Fireworks season.
First off, some important volunteer information! We are trying out a new sign up system this year which will help us be more organized, track volunteer hours more efficiently, and generally help us out more. Please feel free to provide feedback on this on what you like, what you don't like, etc.
All known volunteer opportunities have been created, including the fireworks tent, football games, competitions, etc. Please note that anything past July the dates are subject to CHANGE! Especially the football games and competitions. Please note that you must fill out the county volunteer form at
https://www.myoneclay.net/volunteer. Even if you have filled it out previously, it must be new for each year.

FIREWORKS TENT:
Our delivery day will be on June 24th, and all student shifts that day will earn double hours! You can sign up for shifts on our new volunteer coordination page linked above.
Our GiveButter campaign is working great and still running until June 30th. So far students have raised $2,000! That is outstanding! As a reminder, all funds from this fundraiser apply directly to the student's accounts!

Europe Trip:
This trip is from June 3rd - June 10th, 2025
Orlando Trip:
The Orlando trip is a joint trip with Band, Chorus, and Drama club. Because this is an official trip, it is open to students and chaperones. If you would like to chaperone, please reach out to Mr. Colón at arnaldo.colon@myoneclay.net.
We will spend time in Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and spend the final day doing Disney performing arts workshops and Disney Springs.
This trip is from March 27th - March 29th.
Fees and Payments
Fees:
Band Fee (All students) - $400
Uniform Fee (All students) - $50
Percussion Fee (Front Ensemble and Battery) - $100
Marching Band Fee (All Marching Students) - $200
One-Time Fees (If they still fit)
Marching Bibbers - $60
Dinkles (Shoes) - $30
Concert Dress - $70
Concert Tie - $15
*Male concert attire is black collared button down shirt with black pants, must provide your own
*Male and Female must provide own concert shoes. Must be nice black shoes.

Checks: Payable to Ridgeview High School. Place in envelope and seal with student name and purpose and place in Mr. Colón's black lockbox hanging by his door.

Fundraising: All fees are payable from fundraised student funds from individual/group fundraisers. Please send an email to arnaldo.colon@myoneclay.net and a payment will be made on behalf of the student from fundraised funds.
Band Camp
Band camp will run 7/29/24 through 8/9/24. Uniform fitting will also occur during this time. Times are currently TBD.

Upcoming Fundraisers
Fireworks Tent (Dates Set)
It will run from June 24th through July 4th, and is located in the Walmart Parking Lot at 899 Blanding BLVD, Orange Park, FL 32065.
The tent will be open from 9AM-9PM, with setup and teardown taking place at 8:30AM and 8:30PM respectively.
Give Butter Fundraising Campaign
This will be an individual fundraiser to raise funds for student fees and trips. It will take place from June 1st - June 30th. The link to our fundraiser: https://givebutter.com/RHSTrip
HundredX Survey Campaign (Dates Contracted)
This will run from August 19th - September 19th and will be the most beneficial for paying student fees. 188 surveys completed per student will offset the new marching band fee.
Surveys can be completed by anyone, with a limit of 75 surveys per email. You must spend 1 minute minimum for the survey to count.
During registration, please ensure that you hyphenate your student's last name to yours if it is different. For example, my student's last name is Poorman but mine is Thaw, so my family and I will enter Steve Thaw-Poorman when we register to complete surveys.
Another method is to send an email to board@pantherprideboosters.org and let us know your student's full name and what email addresses did surveys for them.
Florida Fundraiser (Dates and Sale Items Subject to Change)
We will be selling items through Florida Fundraiser. We will release more information as it becomes available. The tentative dates for this fundraiser are September 1st - September 30th.
