This Tuesday, September 3rd our Wolves will be taking their Fall Portraits. Please ensure that your Wolf is in proper dress code, as these photos will be featured in our 2024-2025 yearbook.

PAW Patrol
Are you looking for a way to volunteer at ASA? Join the PAW Patrol (Parents of Awesome Wolves)! PAW Patrol is an innovative parental involvement initiative aa ASA Thrive that invites mothers, fathers, guardians and/ or significant family members to volunteer at least one day a year. Volunteering can include assisting teachers in their classrooms, helping out at recess or even helping out at school events! Click here to read our Volunteer Orientation Training Guide.
Lost & Found
Please be aware that our Lost and Found items will be donated at the end of each month. If your Wolf has misplaced any belongings, please remind them to check the Lost and Found.
Parents and guardians are also welcome to check the Lost and Found before, during & after the school day.

They are available for purchase at the Front Office & are $40 each, CASH ONLY.
Have Medication(s) For Your Wolf?
If your Wolf requires daily, as needed, and/or emergency medication in the health office for the 2024-2025 school year please make sure you have completed all the medication forms required. All medication, including prescribed and over the counter must have a physician signed authorization form. Please visit the Health Office Web Page-ASA Thrive Chino, to find all the necessary forms required for your child’s medical needs.
ELOP Information
We are thrilled to offer a variety of sports and clubs this year, providing students with opportunities to thrive, learn, and grow. These activities also highlight the importance of regular school attendance.
Please remember that students must be present during the regular school day to participate in any after-school competitions. Additionally, after two late pick-ups from any club or session, your child will not be able to participate in clubs for the rest of the year. Dismissal for clubs is at 4:05 pm.
Volleyball
Congratulations to all the boys and girls that made the ASA Volleyball team! Way to go!
Mileage Club
Mileage Club is a school-wide wellness initiative starting on Friday, August 30. Students are invited to join us every Friday morning from 7:30 a.m. to 7:55 a.m. to run laps around the field and track their miles. They can work toward the 100 Mile Club and earn recognition along the way. Teachers will also take students to participate during the school day.
For before-school participation, a waiver must be on file. Waivers can be accessed through your Parent Portal. Please click here for instructions on creating or accessing your PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Social Emotional Learning Skills for 9/2-9/6
As our ASA Counseling Program grows we want to share with our families what we are learning and focusing on as a school in the socio-emotional realm. Each week will feature the school wide Social Emotional Learning (SEL) skill, a breathing strategy, and grade level lesson topics.
This week's school wide Social Emotional Learning (SEL) skill is Trust Your Instincts
Breathing Strategy of the week: Positive Affirmations
Counseling Lessons this week will be in 3rd and 4th grade learning about the difference between problems within our control and outside of our control. We will also begin thinking about coping strategies for problems.
