STUDENT ATHLETIC TRAINERS
The Student Athletic Training Aide (SATA) program has been designed for high school students interested in pursuing a career in athletic training, sports medicine, or other related medical professions. The goal is to foster a positive learning environment where students benefit from the instruction and observation of qualified health care professionals. These students commit their school year to aiding in the wellbeing of Mustang’s student athletes. Through shadowing the Certified Athletic Trainers, the SATA learn basic first aid, injury evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation techniques, prophylactic taping, nutrition and hydration education, and are the eyes and ears on the field for assistance in recognition and treatment of athletic injuries.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY PREVIEW
We are excited about this season. In the last 4 years we have placed 1st, 5th, 3rd, and 2nd so we are gearing up for the top. We have a strong team led by the # 2, Noah Thayer, and #3, Cameron Langdon, finishers last year.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY PREVIEW
The Girls Team has been running many many miles this summer to prepare for the season. We can't wait to get started running races and continue working toward our goals this year. Our team focus is 100% individual commitment to their team. We don't just run for our own times, we are running for our team every single day. We have a lot of improving to do from last season to reach our goals but I know that this group is capable of it. I am excited to see them accomplish these goals and be successful individually and as a team.

BRONCO FOOTBALL REVIEW
The Bronco Football Program had a wonderful summer spent working hard in the weight room and out on the football field preparing to compete this fall. But that is not all that we were focused on. This summer was about learning how to serve others and learning how to be better leaders. At the beginning of summer break, our team went to Camp Gruber to do some leadership training and team building with the soldiers of the Oklahoma National Guard. Our students visited a retirement home to spend an afternoon with the residents there. We put on football camps for the elementary age students in our community. We hosted a class for players mothers called Football Mom 101 class to teach our mothers about what we do on a daily basis. The seniors adopted youth football teams to help volunteer on, and we set up opportunities to work with our special needs programs when school starts back. Bronco Football became better #CharacterLeaders this summer!

FAST PITCH SOFTBALL PREVIEW
Our expectations remain the same year to year. Our goal is always to win our district and put ourselves in position to host a home Regional so that we can punch our ticket to the State Tournament. We want to be the last team standing on Saturday evening. We have a good mix of upperclassmen and underclassmen talent this season. We are replacing six starters from last season's state tournament team, but believe we have the talent to achieve our goals.

VOLLEYBALL PREVIEW
This years Mustang Bronco Volleyball Team will be entering this 2024 season with high expectations. We as a coaching staff are really excited about this team. We will have a great blend of both experience and young talent. I love the direction and development of this team since the start of our opening camp, but we still have a lot of work to do. We still have an opportunity over the next several of weeks to continue to develop our fundamentals, which I think is going to be critical as we chase an opportunity, to compete for a Championship. The hard work our team has put in over the summer and on the court is a sign of their focus and pursuit to be the best version of themselves that they can be. Please come out and show these ladies your support at the Mustang Event Center. Our home games are August 27th, September 3rd, 5th, 12th, and October 1st and 7th.
