OPEN PTA BOARD & CHAIR POSITIONS
The MCS Noble PTA is looking for a few good people to join our board and chairs next school year. Three years of middle school goes by so quickly so don't wait to get involved! The following positions with a brief description are currently open to be filled for the 2024-2025 school year
PTA Board Positions:
Treasurer: Help to develop budget, collect and deposit dues and payments, write checks, maintain the books, and report monthly.
Secretary: Take meeting minutes, post social media announcements, and manage email newsletter lists. Post monthly meeting minutes and maintain an online calendar of events on Givebacks. This person would work very closely with our communications chair. (see description below)
PTA Chair Positions:
Communications: Newsletter, Social Media, Bulletin Board and Marquee. Gather details and coordinate transmission of information about PTA activities to Noble families via email, social media, e-newsletter, bulletin board, marquee, etc.
Book Fair: Work to advertise, coordinate volunteers, and set up and run the book fair with the librarian 2X/a year.
Free Money: Submit necessary online registration/paperwork. Alert the community to ways that the Noble PTA may receive free money (BoxTops, Publix, Harris Teeter).
Family Programming/Parenting Book Club: Work to provide programs to parents and caregivers and their families to educate them regarding relevant issues (i.e., parenting book club, safer internet day, etc.).
Spirit Nights
Create a schedule of on and off-campus fundraising and/or community-building events (ie., FlipNFly Night, Defy Gravity, Nourish NC, Ice House). Schedule, advertise, collect funds, and write thank you to companies that provide a fundraising opportunity.

VOLUNTEER FOR EAGLE WATCH
The EagleWATCH program is such a benefit to the school and a great opportunity to spend a little time in your child's environment, become familiar with everyone, and provide added safety to all students. The best part is that it's on your schedule. Sign up for an hour shift any time you can! Change days, change times, or make it a weekly date.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
July 1st started the 2023-2024 volunteer year, which means all school volunteers will have to re-do their annual volunteer training/evaluation on or after July 1st to be eligible to continue volunteering during the 2023-2024 school year.
Background Checks for Level 2 Volunteers are valid for 3 years
If you are signed up for Harris Teeter's Together in Education Program, THANK YOU!
If you are not, it is easy. Tell your checkout person to sign you up with the school code 1987. For the second half of the school year, HT is running a promotion that if you sign up for HT PLUS, they will give our school $10.
You can cancel anytime and our school still gets the cash!
