We will commemorate National Day for Truth and Reconciliation at school Friday September 27. For this occasion, students are welcome to wear an orange shirt for that day. There will be an assembly at the gym for the commemoration.

School Council

Our School Council is looking for a Chairperson. If you know of anyone who might be interested or if you would like to learn more about this super fun role please give a call to the school at 403-347-7830. Our School Council is made up of great volunteers who are eager to help! We meet once a month online to make plans and talk about the great things that are happening at our school. Please consider joining our council as a parent volunteer or putting your name forward for Chairperson. You can also connect with Mme Cellini at alanna.cellini@rdcrs.ca for more information!

Read-a-Thon

Watch for packages coming home this week on the Read-a-Thon. The Read-a-thon is our school's largest fundraiser. This event allows us to get students reading, as well as raise money to support our school councils efforts to bring fun activities into our school. The money generated helps greatly with our year end field trips and many other activities throughout our school. Thank you in advance for your participation to help us meet our School Council goals for this year.

Cafeteria News

Watch for the “Great Cookie” deal in October with our cafeteria kicking off a weekly promotion of delicious and tasty cookies. Two cookies will be sold for a loonie and pre-orders will be available.
