Dress Code Overview: Moffitt Elementary School adheres to the mandatory district uniform policy. Students are expected to wear clothing that is neat, clean, and appropriate for school activities. Clothing should not disrupt the learning process, endanger safety, or communicate unwanted or dangerous messages. If there is any doubt about the appropriateness of a garment, we recommend not wearing it.
Board Policy: To foster a positive learning climate and ensure safety, the Board of Education mandates school uniforms for grades K-8. This policy also includes an option for parents to exempt their children from uniform requirements, which can be arranged by signing the exemption form available in the school office.
Uniform Guidelines:
Boys:
Solid white or navy blue shirt (collared, no logos) and/or Moffitt spirit shirts
Navy blue pants or shorts, or dark-colored jeans
Close-toed shoes suitable for physical education
White or navy blue sweater, sweatshirt, or jacket
Girls:
Solid white or navy blue shirt or blouse (collared, no logos) and/or Moffitt spirit shirts
Navy blue skirt, jumper, pants, shorts, skorts, or dark-colored jeans
Close-toed shoes suitable for physical education
White or navy blue sweater, sweatshirt, or jacket
