Mariner Times
January 27, 2025
Greetings Mariner Families,
We are continuing our quest to become a community school. The application is due tomorrow, and we are still accepting responses to the surveys. Thank you to those of you who have responded. We will keep you updated on the progress once our application is submitted.
Tomorrow is the RISE African American Scholars Conference. A group of our students will be in attendance to hear motivational speakers, learn about college, and to participate in workshops with their peers from all over the district.
On Friday, MVH will host 8th grade students from around the community at our annual Future Mariners Day. Future Mariners will cone to MVH to get a tour, learn about clubs, athletics, and activities, and to get a taste of what it will feel like to be a freshman at MVH next year. We can’t wait to meet them!
Have a wonderful week, Mariners!
Sincerely,
Teresa Kramer
