¡Nuestra maravillosa Asociación de Padres y Maestros de Mid Valley está de nuevo manos a la obra! Our wonderful Mid Valley PTO is at it again! They have graciously worked to gather community sponsorship and support to gift our school a beautiful Puma Picnic Shelter. Now you as a family can watch your kids on the weekend as they play soccer or play on the playground. You will be protected from the weather and sit at beautiful picnic tables. We love it and can't wait to use it! Please talk to your students about treating this structure and tables with respect. Make sure they know NOT to write on it or deface it and to instead work hard to keep it clean and beautiful so our families can use it for a long time to come. This structure also provides an additional covered space for classes, groups, or recess that is very much appreciated by our teachers. THANK YOU MID VALLEY PTO AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS!

Aquí en Mid Valley hacemos un desfile serpentino para todos los estudiantes que quieran lucir sus disfraces de Halloween. Únase a nosotros el 31 de octubre de 12:45 a 1:45. Deberá registrarse en la oficina principal. Las puertas se abren para las familias a las 12:30. Si después desea llevarse a su estudiante a casa, regístrelo en la oficina principal antes de irse. Here at Mid Valley we do a serpentine parade for all of the students who want to show off their Halloween costumes. Join us on October 31st from 12:45 to 1:45. You will need to sign in at the main office. Doors open for families at 12:30. If you would like to take your student home afterwards, please check them out at the front office before you leave. No guns, knives, blood, or weapons in costumes please.

• Actualización del carnaval: ¡recaudamos $5000 que se destinarán a financiar 1 o 2 excursiones adicionales para cada grado este año! ¡Un ENORME agradecimiento a todo el personal y las familias que se ofrecieron como voluntarios, donaron golosinas y se presentaron para hacer esto posible!

• Carnival Update- We raised $5,000 that will go towards funding 1-2 additional field trips for each grade this year!! A HUGE Thank you to all the staff and families who volunteered, donated treats, and showed up to make this possible!

• Halloween Fest this Saturday 26th 4-7pm. PTO will be selling cotton candy, snacks, food and drinks.

Dental Sealants are starting soon. If you signed up for this great opportunity, your student will get pulled out of class briefly to have their teeth checked by the One Community Health Dental Team. Please contact the office if you have any questions.

Please write your student's name on their coat tag. We have lots of clothing that has been accidentally left behind. Please stop by to see if your student has any missing clothing here. Just sign in at the main office and we can walk to down to lost and found station.

Colder temperatures are on their way. Please send your student to school with warm clothes. Please send them with a jacket but not a blanket. Blankets tend to be a distraction and get ruined. If you do not have any winter clothes for your student please let the office know. Teachers will strongly encourage students to wear their coats but it is not mandatory.

During November and December we have a variety of days with no school. Please use this time to complete all of your student's vaccinations with their medical provider.
