Principal Updates
Dear Trailside Families,
It is hard to believe this will be the last parent newsletter for the 2021-22 school year! Oh, and what a year it has been. I am so proud of our TMS community..students, faculty, and families. Our students have grown so much this year and have truly come back in so many ways from the pandemic. While many of us may have lingering challenges, our children are finishing their school year strong.
I witnessed so many achievements both in and out of the classroom. While we did face challenges in the form of the pandemic, personal loss, racism and hate speech; our community has come together in many ways. Supporting our elementary school and their families who experience poverty every day, supporting our families through loss of home, family members, parents, and serious illness. I am so proud to be the principal of Trailside. I look forward to the next school year and to go deeper into our "No Place for Hate" campus and encourage our families to sign the petition to "Wait Until Grade 8". Our children grow up way too quickly and if we can all come together to make their middle level years the best years yet, what a beautiful school year we can make together. I wish each and every family all the best for a safe and happy summer!
Below are some reminders for next year:
