At Lineweaver, we believe in teaching the "whole child". This means that students get opportunities to develop academics as well as social/emotional! We are continuing our work using Character Strong resources to introduce and reinforce a character trait each month. Classroom lessons and discussions will be centered upon this month's trait: Respect. At the end of the month, students will be identified and recognized for applying this trait with our Student of the Month award! See more information about this trait in the attached info sheet.

We know what kids love to read!! Ms. Draper is continually working on our Library's offerings and we'd like to as your help in getting some great books for your children to check out. Please consider making a donation using this Amazon WishList. You can even share this link with extended family or friends!

Lineweaver is happy to announce the offerings at this point so far this year, with the possible addition of Chess, Cheerleading, and Robotics later in the year. There is a quick poll below to see about interest in a Magic Club.

Registration will be sent via Parentlink and school daily announcements. Some groups have a capacity and all associated fees go directly toward sustaining the coaches/sponsors and costs to run the program.

• Lions Dine Out nights have raised $560 so far!
• Skate Night was a hit with 149 skaters, bringing in $343! Thank you to everyone who participated!

Tax credit funds help to sustain many of our before and after school activities. Please consider a $40 general designation to Undesignated Tax Credit to support these continued opportunities for your child. Payment can be made via check or in person at the front office or contribute online . This funding can be helpful for before/after school activities and specials.

In order for Lineweaver to continue having a full time PE teacher and Physical Education program within the school day, we need your help!!! Please consider a donation to Lineweaver “Gifts and Donations” to help us meet our goal of raising $75,000 by February 15th, 2025. Doing so will allow your child to continue having PE next school year. Our office manager, Lisia Langejans can help with your deposit. We are not even close to our goal... please help!

Please sign up for your child's conference with teacher! We dismiss at 11:45 with a quick "grab and go picnic lunch" early in the day. This is an important time to share your goals for your child's school experience and hear from your teacher about progress so far. We are aiming for 100% participation, so please join us! After conferences, please fill out the survey to help us in the future. This QR code will provide the school feed back directly to us.
