This Week at CCES
May 12 - 16
Our campus attendance goal is 96%.
Last week's attendance was 95.90%.
Cub Families,
I cannot believe this is our last week of school! The 24-25 year has gone by like a flash. We appreciate you sharing your students with us every day. I am also very grateful to all of the people who have supported the students, helped with events, volunteered their time, donated items, been here to give a smile and wave, and been present with us this year. We cannot thank you enough, and we could not do what we do on a daily basis without the support.
Have a great week Cubs!

As we wrap up the school year, please reach out to me if you need some guidance or information to help your student (or your family) make the transition to summer. Here are a few important tips to keep things “running smoothly” during the transition:
- Allow time to settle into the new routine (routines and schedules are important!).
- Establish rules and guidelines – together.
- Maintain a routine and bedtime (again, routines and schedules are important!).
- Stay busy, but not too busy!! Allow for some downtime.
- Keep learning alive!! Read as a family, play fun, educational games, and learn new things.
Here is a link to the article these tips came from:
Remember, as we move toward the end of the school year, you may see your student(s) start to express some concerns or nervous feelings about the change in routine and the unknown of what lies ahead for next year. We also start to see students showing some sad feelings about leaving their current teachers and moving on to the next grade. It is always good to give them a safe place with comfort and encouragement to talk about these feelings. If I can be of any assistance, please let me know.
Happy May, Cubs!!
