All of us in the counseling office are very thankful for the show of support we have received during National School Counselor Week. We walked into our offices Monday morning and were showered with notes of appreciation from our students and staff. It made our week!! We love working with all of our students and we appreciate the kind words and gestures this week. Students and staff at RMS are the best!
★ 6th Grade
It was such a breath of fresh air to be able to see all of my 6th grade students this week while wrapping up scheduling for next year! I am reminded of how sweet, fun, and genuine of a group we have!
Thank you to all staff, students & families for your kind words during National School Counselor Week :) We appreciate you all!
★ 7th Grade
What an AMAZING week! I was able to thank all the 7th grade students for their notes of appreciation for National School Counselor Week AND meet with each student (one-on-one or in a small group), to enter their course requests for the 25/26 school year.
Thank you for assisting your student(s) with their online scheduling form.
As a friendly reminder, students and I received a copy of their google form responses. Should there be any scheduling conflicts later on, I will use this document to swap out elective courses.
Have an amazing weekend and Go Bulldogs!
★ 8th Grade
Washington DC is right around the corner!! This is an exciting time for our 8th grade students and it will be a great trip. Ms. Sunday will be working with students next week to get room assignments and will be addressing expectations.
Mark your calendars - March 3rd @ 5pm will be the parent meeting at the 9th grade academy for all incoming students. This is a great opportunity to tour the building, learn about the curriculum and meet some of the staff that will be working with your students. I hope all of you will be able to attend. More information will be released soon.
College Board Account Reminder: We are still working on creating College Board Accounts next week - Students will need to have an email account, other than their school email. This is done because students can access this account after they graduate from high school. They will also need a cell phone number to use for security purposes or if they forget their password. If a student does not have a cell phone, they may use their parent’s number. It would be extremely helpful if you could help your student create an alternate email account if they do not already have one. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. Thank you.
