Otter Connection
Olympic Hills PTA Newsletter - October 29, 2024
Our mission is to work together to support, inform, and connect the diverse community of Olympic Hills Elementary by investing in our childrens’ education, safety, and well-being through inclusive community activities and enrichment programs.
All PTA events, offers, and activities are open to the entire Olympic Hills Elementary Community! You do not have to be a PTA member to join in the fun. If you would like to join the PTA for additional benefits and to be able to vote on PTA business, you can do so here.

Vote No on I-2109 & I-2117
Ballots for the general election are out, and The Washington State PTA ( WSPTA) urges our over 84,000 members to vote no on I-2109 and I-2117.
If these initiatives pass, our children and youth will be impacted, as school districts will lose billions of dollars in funding for education programs and access to federal matching funds.
Further information can be found on the WSPTA website:

PTA Friday Work Parties
Did you know the PTA hosts a work party every Friday morning to help out the teachers and staff at the school with special projects like copying, laminating, cutting, organizing and more?
If you ever have a free Friday morning, come and join us! Meet parents and community members, help out the school, and have some fun!
We meet at about 8am (right as school starts) and are there for about 1-2 hours depending on how many projects we have that day. Come for as long or short as you want. You can sign up here so we know to expect you or just show up.

We also occasionally have other special events like picture day, assemblies, and more that the PTA organizes volunteers for as well as projects that can be done at home on your own schedule. Email volunteer@olympichillspta.org with any questions or to get on our mailing list when volunteer opportunities arise.
