Class of 2024
Class of 2024 - Senior Info
Contingency Plan for Severe Weather on Thursday
Senior Families,
We are so proud of the WHS Class of 2024 and look forward to the senior events that will take place this week, concluding with the graduation ceremony for 591 Weatherford High School seniors on May 23rd.
Currently, the weather forecast calls for the possibility of rain and thunderstorms on Thursday. Please be assured that Weatherford ISD administrators will be closely monitoring the weather forecast leading up to graduation. Should the weather conditions affect our ability to hold the ceremony at 8:00 pm on Thursday, we will either adjust the start time or move graduation to the following day, Friday, May 24 at 8:00 pm.
If the schedule for graduation is altered due to weather conditions, we will let you know via email and will post to our website and social media sites (Facebook and Instagram).
Your understanding and flexibility are greatly appreciated as we aim to ensure a safe and memorable celebration for our graduates and their families.
Dr. Bill Tommaney
Graduation Tickets!
Last week, we were able to distribute ten tickets to each senior. However, 150 students requested an additional 970 tickets, exceeding our supply. It would be a tremendous help if any family that does not need all ten tickets would return their extras to the front office, and we will distribute those accordingly. In the meantime, we will begin distributing two additional tickets to those who made a request. Those students can stop by Admin B, the downstairs AP office, to pick up their additional tickets.
Thank you for your understanding. We appreciate your assistance in returning any surplus you may have to help us meet the demand.
Class of 2024 - Senior Picnic and Sunset
Senior Walk - May 22nd
Parents, please utilize the Fast Pass check-in method if you are attending your child's Senior Walk on May 22nd. Please complete this form in advance of the event to streamline the check-in process.
Seniors, you do not have to check in for a visitor's badge or present your ID, as long as you are wearing your WHS cap and gown.
Parents, if you plan to attend the Senior Walk on May 22nd, please utilize the Fast Pass online form to expedite the check-in process (make sure you select the campus you will be attending).
Students may participate in the Senior Walk, even if they did not attend a WISD Elementary School. This event is about the experience for the younger students and one more way to honor our Seniors.
Thank you, and Go, Roos!
