2021 Beyond The Notes Music Fest!

We would love to have you join us for a middle school music festival that focuses on student learning and growth. It treasures the “teachable moment” and provides unparalleled access to expert instruction and feedback in a non-competitive environment. Wind, percussion, string, and vocal clinicians are selected for their specific skill set in working with and inspiring young musicians. The festival schedule allows ensembles time to listen to and support other groups as well as time to enjoy Wisconsin’s largest indoor waterpark and Tom Foolerys Adventure Park. Profound learning and social experiences through music all at an affordable price!

Wednesday, May 26, 2021 - Band Clinic & Choir Clinic Day
Thursday, May 27, 2021 - Band Clinic & Orchestra Clinic Day
Friday, May 28, 2021 - Band Side-By-Side Day

The festival format on Wednesday and Thursday will be: 30 minute warm-up, 30 minute performance, 30 minute clinic, etc.
The side-by-side format on Friday will be: 40 minute performance/"Side by Side" experience with collegiate music education majors and a guest clinician.

Ensemble Application Fee - $275.00 ea. (Due October 1st)
*Student Participant Fee - $30.00 ea. (Due mid-late April)
*This is an estimate of the fee. This could change by $1.00 but every effort will be made to keep it at $30.00 for day participants.

Staying overnight with your ensemble is easier than you think and there are some great benefits.

How Much? The price of the hotel room is $108 per room (quad occupancy). This includes waterpark passes. When you factor the $9 for the pizza you are at $36 total per student! When you consider the fee that students pay to come just for the day $30, staying over is just $6 more. We now offer breakfast as well so no need to worry about that either.

What are the benefits? Staying the night allows your kids to visit the waterpark two days instead of one. It also relaxes the schedule a bit so you have more time to enjoy the Adventure Park, hear other groups, etc.

Will You Sleep? Yes, we help coordinate hiring a security guard to patrol those hallways so you can get some rest! Our registration process makes booking rooms easy. All of your fees will be found on one bill.

Registration for the 2021 Beyond The Notes Music Festival will take place on the Beyond The Notes Festival Website beginning at 8:30 PM (CST) on Monday, March 2, 2020. Registration is a first-come, first-served basis. So register early for best time choices.
