Apply to be an Intern!

The Plano Mayor’s Summer Internship Program (PMSIP) is an earn-and-learn opportunity open exclusively to Plano ISD students.

Intern Eligibility:

Be a rising junior or senior enrolled in a Plano ISD High School.

Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 with a solid attendance record

Be at least 16 years old by June 9, 2025

Be eligible to work in the United States

Be available to work the entire 8 weeks of the internship - June 9 through August 1

Be available to attend all PMSIP training and program dates

Applications will be accepted from January 17 to February 18 at 5 p.m. or until 300 applications are received. Learn more at planomayorsinterns.org

Seniors and Parents:

Please join the PESH Counselors and Collin College Financial Aid Officers for a Financial Aid presentation. This informative presentation will review the basics of financial aid and finding money for college including the FAFSA, TASFA, scholarships, loans, and grants.

Mandatory Tryout Meeting

Wednesday, January 15th 5:30-7:00 – Plano East Cafeteria

Candidate and Parent must be present at the meeting to receive information.

All tryout information will be given at the meeting as well as tryout packets to be turned in by February 14th.

Requirements:

• Must be attending Plano East as a 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grader for the 2024-2025 school year

• NEW cleared physical due on 2/15

• Love of performing and Plano East!

Level Change Requests Due by January 10th

• Students who would like to level down from an AP or Honors class for the second semester will need to complete the google form linked below.
• Level changes are the ONLY option at this point in the semester and will begin in January. Requests to change electives will not be considered.
• The deadline to complete the form and request a level change is JANUARY 10th.

2. Check your email for your Collin CWID number (do not use PISD email address)

3. Complete the TSI pre-assessment

4. Schedule your test
