📣 Governing Council Update – Changes for the 2025–2026 School Year
The Governing Council met on Friday and approved two important changes for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year:
-
Separate Lunch for 6th Grade
6th grade students from both SFMS and SFiAM will now have a separate lunch period from 7th and 8th graders. This change is designed to support a smoother transition into middle school and provide a developmentally appropriate lunch experience for our youngest students. -
Modified Regular/Reverse Schedule
We will implement a new alternating bell schedule that includes both regular and reverse days:-
Regular Schedule: Periods 1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 5 → 6
-
Reverse Schedule: Periods 6 → 5 → 3 → 4 → 2 → 1
✅ Note: Periods 3 and 4 will remain in the same position on both schedules and will not rotate.
-
Textbooks and Yondr Pouch Collection
As we wrap up an amazing school year, please remember to return all school materials on the designated days:
-
Tuesday, June 3rd – 8th Grade Book & Yondr Pouch Collection

Friday, June 6th – 6th & 7th Grade Book & Yondr Pouch Collection

👕 Uniform Reminder for Families
A friendly reminder that all students are expected to wear their school uniform each day. Our uniform includes a baby blue collared shirt and navy blue pants/shorts/skirt.
Unless students are participating in Math Shirt Monday or a Spirit Week dress-up day, they should be in full uniform. Please note that black pants, sweatpants, or sweatshirts without a collared shirt underneath do not meet our uniform policy.
If your child needs help getting a uniform, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to support you.
Thank you for helping us maintain a consistent and professional learning environment for all students!
