Elementary to Middle School Transition-Parent Information Night
Dear CVUSD Parent/Guardian of a Student with an Individual Education Plan,
The Special Education Department will be holding a parent information meeting for families and students transitioning from elementary school to middle school on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 5:00pm to 5:45pm.
The meeting will begin with an general overview about transition IEP meetings to support the transition from elementary school to middle school, descriptions of the special education supports and services at each middle school, and time to review frequently asked questions as well as answer any general information questions. After the initial presentation, parents will have the opportunity to meet in small groups for a question and answer session with representatives from the middle school special education departments.
