Testing Season is Upon Us: A Time for Growth and Achievement
These assessments are not just a measure of academic progress; they serve as stepping stones in our students' educational journeys. It's a time for growth, self-discovery, and showcasing the knowledge and skills they've acquired throughout the school year.
We want to express our confidence in our students and their ability to rise to the occasion. The dedication and hard work they've put into their studies will undoubtedly shine through during these assessments. Our teachers and staff have been diligently preparing our students, and we have every confidence in their success.
The Importance of Student Attendance: A Key to Success
With the testing season in full swing, we want to stress the extreme importance of student attendance. Regular attendance not only ensures that students receive the necessary instruction and support leading up to the tests but also helps create a positive and focused learning environment.
Attending school every day is a commitment to academic success. Each day missed is an opportunity lost for valuable learning experiences. We kindly ask for your support in emphasizing the significance of consistent attendance with your children. Together, we can help them achieve their full potential.
As we welcome February this weekend, let's rally together and show our Falcon spirit! The strength of our community lies in the collective efforts of our students, parents, teachers, and staff. Let's continue to support one another and celebrate the achievements, big and small, within our Alice Vail Middle School family.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our dedicated staff. Your involvement and communication are crucial components of our shared success. Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to the success of our students. Here's to a fantastic February filled with growth, achievement, and the unmistakable spirit of the Falcons!

Verizon Innovative Learning Schools -Technology Fines
A couple weeks ago an overdue notice went out that included technology fines for damaged and lost iPads and iPad chargers. Fines from prior years carry over until they are paid. It is important to our school that technology fines are paid because we are expected to maintain our inventory until 2028. We have to be sustainable. Technology fines can be paid online on our Alice Vail website under payments or by stopping in to see Connie Moore, our office manager.
Alice Vail MS Student ID Update:
π’ Important Update for Families
Going forward this year, students must bring their school ID with them every day. IDs are required as part of the sign-in process if a student arrives late. If a student does not have their ID, they will need to visit the library to request a replacement.
Thank you for helping us ensure a smooth and efficient process!
GO FALCONS! π¦
