Student Leadership in Action!
This month showcased the impressive work of our nine Student Action Teams across campus. From the Safety Squad ensuring secure pathways to the PBIS Greeters welcoming everyone with bright smiles, our student leaders have stepped up to serve our school community. The Assembly, Beautification, Office Assistant, Library, Ausome Eagles, Kindness, and Spirit teams have demonstrated remarkable dedication to their roles.
It's been inspiring to watch these young leaders take ownership of their responsibilities and actively contribute to making our campus a better place. Their enthusiasm and commitment shine through in everything they do, truly embodying the spirit of student leadership.
DBHS Walking Field Trip to the Annual Winter Show
Students filled Diamond Bar High School's auditorium with excitement as Evergreen Elementary watched their dazzling production of "Charlie and the Christmas Factory"! The annual Winter Show brought holiday magic to life, delighting the young audience with spectacular performances, colorful costumes, and festive music. It was a memorable day of theatrical wonder that united both schools in holiday cheer.
Ski into Math Night!
Ski Into Math Night was a snow-tastic evening filled with fun, learning, and family engagement! Participants explored a variety of math games across different "ski slopes," designed to challenge and excite learners of all ages. Parents joined in on the fun and hit the advanced "expert slope" for some high-level math excitement, while everyone warmed up with hot chocolate and treats at the cozy "ski lodge." The night peaked with a thrilling raffle—guests had the chance to win amazing prizes, including a Stanley tumbler, a dinosaur model, and popular Squishmallows. It was a slope-side adventure of math, snacks, and alpine fun for the whole family!
Evergreen Sing
The Evergreen Sing celebration marked a joyous conclusion to our fall semester, bringing together our entire school community for an unforgettable holiday performance. Each grade level showcased their musical talents, filling the halls with festive spirit and seasonal songs. School counselor Mr. Hurst delighted the audience with memorable solo performances, adding a special touch to the celebration.
The event culminated in a heartwarming display of unity as students and staff joined together in song and dance, embodying the true meaning of our school family. This cherished tradition created lasting memories and perfectly captured the warmth and togetherness of our school community before winter break.
Spirit Assembly was a STAR Perfect
STAR-Studded Spirit Assembly Lights Up Our School!
Our monthly spirit assembly was truly out of this world! Teachers from every grade level, teamed up with our incredible Assembly Action Team, took on the hilarious challenge of "Pin the Star on the Christmas Tree." Students erupted with cheers, supporting their favorite educators as they playfully competed.
Adding to the excitement, we also celebrated our 5th-grade Yearbook Contest winners! Congratulations to all of our talented students who were recognized during the assembly. From every cheer to every star placed, our school community continues to SOAR to new heights!
TK/K students decorate Gingerbread Cookies and celebrate the Holidays!
The classroom buzzed with excitement as our TK and Kindergarten students transformed into junior pastry chefs, their faces lighting up with joy as they decorated gingerbread cookies. Little hands worked with enthusiasm, carefully creating sweet holiday treats. Giggles erupted as creativity flowed, with each child crafting a unique cookie masterpiece. The room filled with the warm aroma of gingerbread and the infectious energy of holiday cheer, as children proudly displayed their delicious works of art, their eyes twinkling with pride and festive spirit.
Santa pays a visit Evergreen
What a magical day we had at Evergreen! Santa Claus himself paid us a special visit, bringing joy and holiday cheer to our students. The children's faces lit up with wonder as they had the opportunity to meet Santa, share their wish lists with him, and take festive photos to capture these precious moments.
The excitement was contagious as students waited eagerly for their turn to tell Santa their Christmas wishes. Each child walked away with a bright smile and that special twinkle in their eye that only comes from a memorable holiday experience.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful Community Club for organizing this enchanting event. Your dedication to creating these special moments for our students truly helps make Evergreen such a wonderful place.
We hope these holiday memories will be treasured by our families for years to come!
