Letter from the Principal
Dear Loyola Families,
As spring break is just a few days away, I hope you get to enjoy time with your family and a little sunshine.
Thank you to Tracy Wu and Marina Larsson for our first ELAC Math Night last night. It was a night of games, prizes and fun for all. I hope you learned some new games to play at home and strengthen your math skills at the same time. I know I did!
Congratulations again to our Wizard of Oz casts and crew. I am so impressed by your acting and singing skills, your hard work and dedication to many months of practices. It showed in your amazing performance.
This month is Autism Acceptance Month. This month celebrates and honors the experiences and identities of Autistic individuals. It emphasizes understanding, inclusion and support, moving beyond awareness towards meaningful acceptance. Please check out these great sites to learn more about inclusion, the autism experience and acceptance by all.

Dear Room 3 Families and Loyola Community,
Today, we come together to celebrate not just our ausome kids but also the families, educators, support staff, and community members who support them every step of the way. This day is a reminder of the strength, resilience, and unique gifts of our neurodivergent students, as well as the kindness and understanding of those who embrace inclusivity.
As a special education teacher, I am deeply grateful to be part of a community that values every student, ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to thrive. Your compassion and dedication help our students not just fit in, but truly belong. Thank you for showing your care, for fostering an environment where all children can participate, and for embracing the beauty of neurodiversity.
Let us continue working together to support our neurodivergent students, accommodating their needs, and advocating for an inclusive future where every child has the opportunity to succeed. Your support makes all the difference.
With appreciation,
Ausome Teacher, Ms. Soraya

Our scoring day will take place on Saturday, May 17th, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM and will include teachers, administrators, and parents. This event will be held virtually, allowing you to score from home. As a parent scorer, you'll have an opportunity to see the level of mathematical thinking demonstrated by our students.
