Dewey Jog-Walk-Run-A-Thon
- Yes, it is that time of year again. The Dewey JOG-WALK-RUN-A-THON! This fundraising event is scheduled to take place on Friday, October 18th during our regular school hours. Here’s the schedule:
8:55-9:35 McCulloch, Gallington, Early Kindergarten
9:40-10:20 Pfost, Melnik, Leschly
10:30-11:10 Holmgren, Hann, Strong, Molaison
11:15-11:55 Jaculina, Kiksman, Schumacher
12:40-1:20 Nava-Robbins, Willett, Late Kindergarten
1:30-2:10 Gardner, Ruswinkle, Burton
- Proceeds from this event will support our school. (We earned a whopping $8,858 from last year’s event! Your support enabled Dewey to purchase t-shirts for our student government, a sound system with 2-wireless microphones for our MP room, field trip scholarships for our 5th and 6th graders and River Cats game attendees, an exciting BMX assembly, PE equipment, and resources for our Maker Space and 6th grade Promotion ceremony. Thank you!) The Jog-a-thon will include walking, jogging, or running laps within a forty-minute time period (one lap will equal approximately one-quarter mile). We are inviting all family members to join us on the day of the Jog-a-thon to run with their child’s class and/or help with management. Students are encouraged to ask family and friends to pledge a specific amount to help make this event a success.
