Clever R-V Information Update

A Message from the Superintendent
Clever Family:
As we plan for the reopening of our schools, many scenarios continue to be considered. As always, staff and student safety will be our number one priority.
Over the last several weeks, Clever R-V leaders have worked with local health officials to establish a safe re-entry plan for the fall. While developing this plan, the District also took into consideration feedback from families and staff members received through online surveys.
Clever R-V is committed to providing a high-quality education for all students while prioritizing the health of our entire school community. We recognize the need for families to have options so they may determine the best learning environment for their student(s). Additionally, school leaders understand the importance of implementing online learning in every classroom so students are more prepared to transition from face-to-face instruction to distanced learning should schools be forced to close again in the future due to COVID-19.
In an effort to re-open as safely as possible, the Clever R-V District has adopted a school calendar (which can be found here) that opens our doors four days a week. How we utilize these four days will be determined by the need to provide the safest environment possible. By the way, the fifth day will be used to “deep clean” and disinfect both campuses and each bus.
A plan for re-entry will be shared with you soon as we continue to refine it prior to distribution. Please understand that any re-entry plan is subject to change with changing circumstances.
Communication has been and will continue to be extremely important. Please take a moment in the next few days to fill out the information form linked below. It will help ensure we have the up to date information we need from each family in the district.
Sincerely,
Mr. Benjy Fenske
Superintendent
