Parent Meet and Greet and Sundowner
We are all keenly anticipating many families attending the teacher/parent ‘Meet and Greet' at 4.30pm this Friday 23 February. Please remember that if you are staying for the P&F annual Sundowner picnic that follows the parent ‘Meet and Greet’ , all children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times, during the Sundowner event. The Sundowner finishes at 7.30pm.
Drop Off and Pick Up
A reminder to all families that children should not be dropped off at school before 8.15am as teachers are only on duty to supervise children from 8.15am. School finishes at 2.50pm and children must be collected by 3.05pm as that is when teachers finish their supervision duty. We do understand that at times there are circumstances that prevent families from being on time and we fully understand this, however if you can’t get to school on time on a regular basis, then please make use of our before and after school care service Kids Academy, that operates on our school site.
Gum Tree
We have coned off an area around the Gum tree near the basketball court because this tree lost a branch a few weeks ago. Gum trees are more likely to lose branches after hot weather. We have an arborist inspect all our trees and we are waiting for a report which will provide advice on whether any of our Gum trees need to be replaced with more suitable specimens.
Hot Weather
A reminder to parents that with hot weather days it is a good idea to put an icepack in your child’s lunchbox to keep their food cold and to provide a full bottle of fresh water each day.

Lenten Reflection
Lenten practices have much less to do with what we are giving up than with what we choose to share. Sharing ourselves in greater communion with others and with God is where our focus should be.
