THANKSGIVING PRAYER
FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parent/Guardians,
We are in our fourth week of in-person learning on campus and teachers are using the Hybrid model of learning. They are teaching at the same time to students in the classroom as well as to students at home through Zoom. One of the challenges has been with PE, but Rhythm and Moves have provided students at home a video for each lesson that the students follow on their own. This was the best solution that the company came up with.
Junior High Students
On Monday, November 30th, Grades 5 – 8 will join with in-person classes. We have had Zoom sessions to inform parents what to expect and how to follow the Reopening Plan which is located on the school website under Academics.
Extended Care
Extended care will be offered to those students whose families are Essential Health Care workers. We are limited to 20 students in the program. A form (click here) was sent out through SchoolSpeak to families to complete if they needed it.
Student Lunches
The cafeteria will resume service and we are asking that you complete the form by Sunday 7pm each week if you require meals during the week. Please be aware that if you are in a cohort that you only choose the days you are attending classes. Click here to complete.
Traveling over Thanksgiving:
As per our Reopening Plan, if families are traveling out of the city, children are to quarantine for 14 days upon return. It is very important that we adhere to these guidelines. It is not worth the risk of spreading the virus. It is highly recommended that children and family members get tested also. Please contact the school if you are planning to be out of town over Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. I have attached the letter from the Superintendent regarding travel guidelines. Please refer to the opening page onSchoolSpeak for testing.
Happy Thanksgiving
We finish classes this Friday and have the Thanksgiving break beginning on Monday, November 23rd. I wish to take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving and to be safe.
We have added a checklist of safety procedures that we were given yesterday from the Archdiocese Safety Coordinator.
I like to take to time to thank all my staff who have worked so hard during this pandemic. Each day has been different with many challenges, but they always turn up to work with a happy smile.
God Bless,
Vincent Riener

Cafeteria Payments
Dear All Souls Families,
You can now pay and add credit to your child/children's cafeteria account through SchoolSpeak. Your payment will be processed through PayPal with a 3% convenience fee for all transactions.
Sign-in to your SchoolSpeak account and select "Lunch Order" in the quick links menu on the left. The "Pay" tab will direct you to your payment options. You may pay the cafeteria balance through your existing PayPal account or as a guest using your credit or debit card. You may also add credit to your child/children's cafeteria account. If you wish, you may still make cash or check payments to the school office.
Please note, for the families that have a credit card on file I will no longer be charging your credit card for lunch payments. You are responsible for paying and adding credit to your cafeteria account.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Regards,
Ms. Escobar
