The Plan......The Promise
The Plan: The purpose of the Family and Community Engagement Plan is to establish the school’s expectations for parental/family engagement; describe how the school will implement a number of specific family engagement activities designed to increase student academic achievement.
The Promise: The purpose of the School-Family Promise (Compact) is to serve as an agreement that parents, students, and teachers develop together, explaining how they will partner to ensure that students meet state academic standards.
To view Partee's Plan...Promise document, please visit the Partee Elementary School Website under the Parent's Tab. https://schools.gcpsk12.org/domain/12218
Safety and Security
Emergency Procedures - Please be sure to follow check-in and check-out procedures and the procedures for car riders. These are in place to ensure safety of our students.
Visitor Management System - This "Buzz-In System" is located outside the front door. All visitors are asked to do the following;
- Press the bell symbol when you arrive
- Our staff will greet you by saying, "Welcome to Partee, how can we help you today?
- Please communicate through the speaker the purpose of your visit and we will be happy to help.
Vestibule: Once visitors enter the lobby area, the front office team will communicate through a speaker. Only parents and visitors who have a meeting, volunteering, or need to visit the Parent Center, etc. will be buzzed into the second set of doors. If you are checking out your student, attending a meeting, or coming to volunteer; you will be asked to scan your driver's license into our system. Once this is completed, our front office team will buzz you through the next set of doors.
Safety Drills - We will continue to practice our required fire drills, tornado drills, hard and soft lock down drills regularly. The School Resource Officers (SROs) will be assisting us with the hard lock down practices throughout the school year. Remember that these practice sessions are necessary so that everyone knows what to do in the event of a real emergency.

Instructional Resources Public Review Opportunity
Staff, students, families, and Gwinnett community members are invited to review and provide input on proposed instructional resources for select grades and courses in Career and Technical Education and Health (Sex Education).
Before adopting instructional resources for classroom use, Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) holds an extensive review. Multiple committees involving various stakeholder groups reviewed resources submitted by publishers for alignment with the school system’s Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) standards. During the ongoing review process, selected resources are piloted in GCPS classrooms. Data from the reviews and pilots will be considered in making adoption recommendations to the Board of Education in 2025.
This year’s virtual public review is open now through October 31st. To begin, please visit this link.
What: Instructional Resources Public Review Opportunity
When: September 30 - October 31

Mentorship Programs
While offering Mentorship Programs at Partee ES since 2018, Legacy Driven Foundation, Inc. has truly enjoyed offering a variety of programming for our youth, boys and girls in 3rd-5th grades. Our VISION is to coach, expose, motivate & encourage all youth to realize their personal worth, realize & maximize their gifts & talents and more. We offer mentorship bi-weekly, offer after-school programs and occasional activities outside of school hours.
We work collaboratively with school counselors & teachers to identify students in need and to provide mentoring, life skill training and general emotional and academic support. The mentees who have participated in our program have not only improved in the area of academic performance but also have an increased level of social skills, enhanced performance in athletic activities, and an increased sense of optimism for their future endeavors and overall have healthier social/emotional lives as they matriculate through middle & high school.
