Thunderbird Update

Thunderbird Families,
Wednesday, is a day to remember the incredible sacrifice and service of the many first responders, armed forces, and other heroes that united to defend this nation's freedom. September 11, 2001 is a day many remember; and more importantly, it is a day we shall teach every generation to never forget.
We have 2 weeks before Fall Break Intercession and they are sure to be busy ones! (9/23-10/4)
- The first 9 weeks grading period ends September 20th. If students are missing any assignments, it is not too late to turn them in. Talk to your student about the importance of communicating with their teachers about missing work so that they can get caught up.
- Our football team has a bye this week and our volleyball teams have games on Monday at Lynn and Wednesday at Sierra. Please come out and support our Lady Thunderbirds as they take the court! Don't forget to purchase your tickets from GO FAN!
- Good Luck to our Zia FFA students that are participating at the New Mexico State Fair in Albuquerque this week. Many of my favorite memories growing up come from my time spent showing animals at the fair. Many life lessons are learned and character is built in the show barn! - Mr. Gaytan and Zia Enlace students will visit El Caldito to do some community service on Friday. We are very proud of these young men and women for serving our community.
- Folklorico and Mariachi during lunches in the courtyard on September 16th, sponsored by Zia ENLACE.
- Advanced Choir Fall Concert (Intermediate and Advanced Choir) will be Wednesday, September 18th @ 7:00 in the Thunderdome.
