As we dive into March, we're gearing up for some exciting events and important milestones!
Our third-grade students will be taking the IREAD 3 assessment tomorrow, March 3rd and 4th. Let's support them in showcasing their skills and knowledge!
Mark your calendars for this Thursday, March 6th, when our talented fifth graders will take the stage for the much-anticipated Spring Sing at 7pm at the Performing Arts Center. It's sure to be a memorable evening celebrating their musical talents. Please see the following for dress code information:
Plain Red Shirts- Mrs. Engelking & Mrs. Kyle Homeroom
Plain White Shirts- Mr. Speicher & Mrs. Randolph Homeroom
Plan Blue Shirts - Mrs. Lower & Mrs. Knapp Homeroom
Please arrive at the Performing Arts Center at 6:45pm. The doors will open at 6:30pm.
Looking ahead, don't forget that Spring Break will be from March 17th through March 28th. It's the perfect time for our students and families to recharge and enjoy some well-deserved time off.
Attention 5th Grade Parents- Please send a photo of your child during their younger years (KG or younger) to Melissa Pharr. She will be making a slideshow for the end of the year awards program. You can send to mpharr@nhj.k12.in.us or you can send the picture with your child that we can scan and return to your child.

Counselor's Corner
Happy March!! As we begin this month we celebrate World Compliment Day on March 1st. Take some time this day (and other days) to compliment a friend, teacher, parent, sibling, etc. It is amazing how one single compliment can change someone’s day and outlook. I also wanted to brag about our students here at ICIS. All three grades completed the MBF Child Safety Matters Program and were very attentive and respectful. Proud of them all. I am looking forward to March and the warmer weather, which hopefully means more outdoor recess!! Happy Spring!!

A portion of your registration comes right back to our schools! That’s right—your steps = support for our students! If we have 20+ participants, we unlock access to additional funds!
