Tomorrow, Friday, October 25, is an early release day for virtual parent-teacher conferences. Please click here to schedule a conference. We encourage ALL parents to reach out to their children's teachers anytime you have a question or just want to check in on your student's progress. If tomorrow afternoon does not work, please never hesitate to reach out to any teacher via email or phone.

Heyward Tour Day for AC Flora High School

Heyward Career Center is offering students interested in registering for any programs for the 2025-2026 School Year the opportunity to travel to the Heyward Career Center with AC Flora High School and tour the facility to learn more about the programs they have to offer. All rising 10th and rising 11th grade students who are NOT CURRENTLY ENROLLED in a Heyward Career Center program can sign-up to participate in this tour on November 12th.

Please click here if you would like to attend and indicate what program you may be interested in for the upcoming school year. All responses need to be entered by November 1, 2024 at noon. Students must respond using their school issued laptops and school accounts.

Members of the ACF Theatre Company competed this past Friday at the Richland One High School Theatre Festival, preparing a number of events for adjudication by professional artists. The following awards were won:

Flora Gives is AC Flora’s school-wide initiative to support our community throughout the year. Our winter projects include Thanksgiving Meal Boxes and Families Helping Families. Our goal this year is to provide a minimum of 40 Flora families with the Thanksgiving they deserve and sponsor a minimum of 40 Flora-zoned families by providing gifts for the holidays. We encourage all teachers, students, parents, and community members to participate in Flora Gives. Please pick up a contract from the school’s Main Office or click below to participate. Four orchestra students earned spots in the South Carolina Music Educators Association’s (SCMEA) Midlands Region Orchestra. These students are now eligible to audition for the SCMEA’s All-State Orchestra. The Midlands Region Orchestra’s concert will be held at White Knoll High School, November 22-23. Wednesday, November 13 (auditorium lobby) will be the last chance to have your senior's portrait taken on campus. These sittings do not need an appointment, but are tux/drape only.

Treats, no Tricks! On Thursday, October 31, the PTSO will provide trick or treating for our 1,400 students, teachers, and staff during lunch.
