THANK YOU!
Dear Saint Joseph Catholic School Families,
I hope you had an enjoyable Thanksgiving with your loved ones. While thinking of the many blessings God has given us, the first thing that came to mind was our incredible families and community. I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to you all for a successful Turkey Trot. Thanks to you, we not only met our goal but exceeded it! Together, our school families raised over $32,000 which will be utilized to continue to enhance our programs and make our school an even better place. A very special thank you to all our volunteers who helped out during the event to make it a smooth and even more enjoyable experience for all. Everyone had a fantastic time! 🦃
Additionally, I want to thank everyone who helped make our first Harvest Festival such a success:
🌽Malabar Feed & Farm for the hay bales
🍂Brian Brownfield & the entire Brownfield/Sorensen family who cooked the delicious BBQ and ran our food truck
🌽Jeff Sorensen (Priority Tree Service) for clearing our property/manning the hayride and Danny Marshall (Mako Millwork) for loaning us your tractor for the hayride. 🚜
🍂The Knights of Columbus for donating hotdogs and cooking them for us
🌽Clint Umbrell for our amazing live music
🍂Dr. Vakani Orthodontics for sponsoring our petting farm
🌽Bounce City for donating our bounce house, basketball throw, giant connect four, and sack race
🍂Joe Aguiar with Pepsi for donating all of our beverages
🌽Glenn’s Tire & Service for sponsoring the lighting
🍂Karsyn Graham (one of our 7th graders) who volunteered to face paint and was a HUGE hit! Her line was long the entire night. 👏
🌽Regina Rodriguez, Carly Gagne, and Sam Sorensen for our delicious bake tent
🍂Strong Island Ice-cream truck 🍦
🌽The Badalamenti family (Leo’s Concrete) for donating the porta potties
🍂The Horn, Sorensen, and Gagne Families for the beer tent
🌽Our Harvest Festival planning committee: Michelle Badalamenti, Ryanne Carmichael, Cassie Carmichael, Randall DePasquale, Carly Gagne, Ann Kling, Allison Mosquera, Joy Pantuso, Kourtney Rios-Bonilla, Regina Rodriguez, Bonnie Schneider, Sam Sorensen, and Jennifer Villa
...and every single person who volunteered for games, set up, helped with clean up, our MCC students who volunteered time on a Saturday night, and of course our amazing custodial, kitchen and maintenance staff who worked tirelessly to set up and break down the event. Thank you abundantly for everything you do to support our school community. We truly could not do this without your support.
Blessings,
