CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SENIORS! Graduation is Thursday night. Make sure you are there by 7pm at check-in (under the home seats). Attire is Sunday Best under your cap/gown. Remember you will be asked to open your cap/gown to make sure you are in proper attire. Stoles, cords, and medals are only allowed if approved. DO NOT bring keys, cell phones, and purses - you will be required to check those items in and you will only have 15 minutes after the ceremony to claim them. Otherwise you can pick your items up at the school on Friday.
NHS: National Honor Society members - this is a reminder that the NHS Induction Ceremony and Senior Banquet is May 21st in the auditorium from 6:30-8pm.
NHS II: Calling all current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors—the new member NHS application, for the 2024-2025 school year, is now available in Mrs. Zamzow's room B210, and Mr. Ronemous' room A232. Applications are due September 6, 2024.
SENIORS: Please remember to turn in your FAFSA opt in or opt out form. This is a graduation requirement, and we are missing over a hundred seniors who have yet to turn theirs in. If you opted in, you may send a screenshot of the opt-in submission form to Mrs. Gonzalez in the Counseling Office. The opt out forms are in the counseling office if you would like to opt out now and opt in later, that is ok to do. If you are 18 years old, you may sign without a parent signature. We are almost to graduation! Go Chargers!
PUERTO RICO: Attention students and families! Champion HS is planning a Student Trip to Puerto Rico in June 2025, and we would be delighted to have you join us! We will immerse ourselves in the rich culture, explore historical sites, and practice our Spanish skills. If you and your parents are interested in this amazing experience, please visit Ms. Martinez or Ms. Garcia's classrooms (Room A119 and Room A146) for more details. We will be holding a parents' meeting in the school library on May 21st at 6 pm. We are looking forward to making this trip a memorable one!

Senior Send-Off
What a great day we had with our Seniors. We had an early morning start with walks at our local elementary schools for both high schools BHS & CHS. Followed by our own school walk and on to an afternoon of games and fun. Lots of smiles and laughter all day long as we gathered to wish our seniors good luck and best wishes! THANK YOU PTO & SPONSORS for helping make this such a wonderful day.
Living Sam Champion's Legacy
Mr. Krause honors Lennyn Deras Montoya
My Champion Legacy Character Medal goes to Lennyn Deras Montoya! No matter the challenge, Lennyn has done a great job all year. He is respectful, helpful, and responsible, maintaining an A, and always coming in with a winning attitude. Thanks for being a great student! Congratulations, Lennyn!
Mrs. Martinez honors Saoirse Ray
Mr. Liberty honors Colin Lee
Ms. Garcia honors Michael Higgins
Michael came late in the year to join our Charger Family. It didn’t take long for Michael to exhibit a positive attitude, patience, responsibility, work ethic, and integrity that influences others around him. He would not hesitate to collaborate and kindly support classmates. I’m pleased to acknowledge Michael Higgins as the recipient of the Living the Legacy Character Medal.
Ms. Holtorf honors Theodore Dutton
Ms. Briggs honors Adriana Bidot Barreiro
Mrs. Gonzalez honors Cassidy Page
I am giving my Champion Legacy Character Medal to Cassidy Page. She has gone above and beyond to help me with FAFSA. She takes the initiative to jump right in to give a helping hand. She was a student aide prior to this year and obtains leadership skills in and around the office. We are very appreciated for all her hard work!

Once we have additional information from Balfour of when we will receive our yearbooks we will notify you of pick up options.
