WHODUNIT? Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, and Colonel Mustard are among the suspects in the hilarious murder-mystery “Clue”, which opens tonight at MHS. Future Doctors?
A contingent from Manchester joined over 1300 hundred students from around the state for the Black Men in White Coats Youth Summit last Saturday at the Palace Theater and UConn Waterbury Campus. The program is designed to increase BIPOC representation in the field of medicine by exposure, inspiration, and mentoring.
Board Of Ed Meets Tonight
The Board of Education will meet tonight (Thursday, Nov. 14) at Lincoln Center and will include an update on Human Capital and Talent on the agenda.

- The day before Thanksgiving -- Wednesday, Nov. 27 -- will be an early release day following the emergency dismissal schedule. That means the day ends at 11 a.m. for high schoolers with Bennet, Illing and MMA done at 11:45 a.m. and the elementary schools at 12:30 p.m. To see the district calendar click here.
A "Clue" For You
Manchester High School's Sock n Buskin Drama Club's fall play is "CLUE (High School Edition)" and it opens tonight in Bailey Auditorium with additional performances Friday and Saturday, all at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door and online here. Broadcast Bingo Just A Week Away
The MHS broadcast journalism bingo fundraiser is Saturday, Nov. 23 and they've updated their list of prizes -- as you'll see on this flier that has all the info you need to know.

Last Friday morning at Squire Village, Family Resource Center teams from Keeney and Verplanck, joined by Student Engagement Specialists and the Manchester Police Department, kicked off the day by walking students to the bus stop!

- A coloring contest for children ages 5-10 who live in town will determine who gets to light the Downtown Manchester Christmas tree. The contest deadline is tomorrow and the tree-lighting event is Nov. 30 and there's more info here.

Next Level Players
On Wednesday afternoon, five seniors from the Manchester High girls soccer team signed letters of intent to play at Division I and II schools next fall as family and friends looked on. The MHS football team (5-3) beat Southington 26-20 on the road last Friday and travel to New Britain to play the Hurricanes (7-1) this Friday with playoff implications. Senior captain Joe Mugovero (right) has caught 61 passes for 960 yards and 13 touchdowns through eight games. The Red Hawks close out the regular season at home on Friday, Nov. 22 against East Hartford in the traditional Thanksgiving game.

Almost 10k runners/walkers have registered for the 88th Manchester Road Race that willl start at 10 a.m. sharp on Thursday, Nov.28 The entry fee is now $37 and goes up to $42 on Nov. 23. Click here for registration information.

- Road Race Saturday serves is a celebration of the race and the community, all activities as a prelude to the annual 4.737-mile Thanksgiving Day race and will take place at Manchester High School on Nov. 23.
Manchester celebrates Veterans Day with a parade from American Legion Drive to Manchester Memorial Hospital, where a ceremony is held that includes include taps, bagpipes, speeches and more.
