Baker Elementary Weekly Update

Baker Elementary is a level 4 school! This is based on a 5 level system and this week it was released to the public that we reached level 4 status. As principal, I am very proud of this accomplishment. I am very proud of the teachers, and staff that we have working here at Baker. Every single one of them are in this profession for the right reason and that is to serve children. They work tirelessly to help children learn, feel safe, accomplish goals, and have fun all while learning. Congratulations TEAM BAKER!

Thank you Officer McCluggage and Mr. Letson for your service to our great country. We are very lucky to have both in our school, not only for their service to our country, but for what they bring to our school and the positive example they provide day in and day out.

We also have many other service men and women who are related to our students. Baker Elementary' s Students, Staff and Teachers thank you too!

Mrs. Finn is Baker Elementary's teacher of the year. We are very fortunate to have Mrs. Finn at Baker Elementary. She is a wonderful teacher who works very hard, has high expectations, and loves her students. Congratulations Mrs. Finn and we wish you luck as you now are in the running for Maury County School District's Teacher of the Year. We are proud of you!

Please remember that next week is Thanksgiving Break (11/20-11/24). The school will NOT be open at all that week.

Permission Slips:

Those who qualified for the Cookie Dough fundraiser field trip need to have their permission slips turned in ASAP. The reward trip to Crockett Cinemas in Lawrenceburg is December 6th.

2nd Grade field trip to the Children's Theater in Nashville, permission slips need to be turned in ASAP.

You are welcome to join your child for lunch. Please have your ID so you can be signed in at the office. Please remember you can only eat lunch with your child. Your child cannot bring friends to eat with them and please keep all Cell Phones in a purse or pocket.
