MAINTENANCE / GROUNDS / TRANSPORTATION

  • Symmetry is making steady progress on the baseball field project. Subgrating has began and this step is a lengthy, tedious process. It is amazing how many loads of gravel have been delivered for the foundation/base surface.
  • The Maintenance Department is staying busy completing work orders on a daily basis.
  • The Maintenance Department has assessed and devised a plan for the electrical accommodations in the press-box and dugouts at the baseball field project.
  • Exterior doors are a top priority and these are being check in each building weekly or even daily. The maintenance department knows the importance of these door sweeps and are quick to respond when work orders are placed.
  • We need rain but our grounds crew has started removing the landscaping fabric and replacing the mulch around BHS. According to a landscape assessment the thicker layer of mulch should help control the unwanted weeds and grass.

TECHNOLOGY

  • The tech department continues to stay busy with tech tickets and resolving issues.

  • Mike has recovered from surgery and is back with us after a couple of weeks of recovery. The department stepped up in a great way while he was out.

  • Stephanie worked with and trained the Finley-Oates staff within Ascender Discipline and GoMath.
