Help your child stay calm
Dear Parents,
As we take the state tests, we want to reassure you and your children that while these assessments are important tools to help us understand academic progress, they are not something to stress over. Please remind your child that their best effort is all we ask for—there is no pressure to be perfect. These tests do not affect their report card grades, nor will they determine whether they move on to the next grade. Our focus remains on learning and growth, and we want every student to feel confident, calm, and supported during this time. Be sure they eat a good breakfast and get good rest. The least amount of iPad or video game screen time at night is best for them. Please try to limit that during this time.
