SAFETY
SAFETY - VANDALISM
Help save our Otter. It has been noted that someone is breaking the fence cups used in our otter on the fence. This was purchased to enhance our campus and it is distrubing to see it be destroyed. We will work to replace the missing cups but if you see someone taking the cups out or breaking them - please call the police and let the school know. Thank you for your help.

School Nutrition
With the start of the new school year, here is a quick reminder regarding food that is sent to school for the classroom. Food that is sent to a classroom as a treat or reward should follow our District Guidelines regarding nutrition. There are several Board Policies that address this issue. Board Policy 5030 - Student Wellness Policy on Physical Activity and Nutrition is one that is useful for your reference.
When you think about sending something to celebrate your child's birthday here are a few things we need to keep in mind. Treats will be passed out the last 10 minutes of the school day. Cupcakes and most cookies do not meet our Board Policies on Nutrition. Check out these policies to see what are considered nutritious treats or send a little token for example pencils, erasers ,or stickers. You can also donate a book to your child's classroom on behalf of your child's special day. Thanks for your help.
