2024-25 Course Registration is Underway
Parents of rising 10-12 graders, please be aware that students are in the process of registering for classes for the 2024-25 school year. Our counselors shared with students how to register as well as the timeline for registration. A parent night was held on Feb. 15 to be sure parents were aware of the registration process as well. Starting February 26-March 22, counselors will meet with students individually to solidify their schedule options for next school year. If you have any questions about the process, please contact student services.
ACT Test Administration - Alternate Bell Schedule
All 11th grade students will take the ACT Test on Tuesday, February 27. We will run an alternate bell schedule to ensure students have time to test and each lunch afterwards. The alternate schedule is here.
Seaforth Joins One Chatham Reads Initiative
I am excited to announce that Seaforth High School will join the district-wide One Chatham Reads initiative. At the start of the second semester, students will participate in reading for pleasure through advisory (once a month) and in Earth Science and World History classes. Click on this link to read more about our approach to supporting literacy at the high school level. By participating in a One Chatham Reads, we hope to encourage students to read for pleasure, build reading stamina and vocabulary, and make literacy a matter of importance. Your child is encouraged to bring a book or magazine from home to read or to check out a book from our library.
