TRAFFICE UPDATES FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR
Brown County is widening Lineville Road. Because of this project, there will be construction occurring in the coming months and years near our schools. Stay tuned to the Brown County Construction website to determine if an alternate route to and from school is necessary.
Beginning March 25, Lineville Road in front of Lineville School will be closed to through traffic.
The Belmont Road and Cardinal Lane roundabouts will remain open.
Cardinal Lane will remain open to traffic until the 2023-24 school year is complete.
Specific to Lineville, please continue to use the entrance off of Cardinal Lane between Lineville Rd and Forest Glen to drop off and pick up your children.

NOTICE OF UPCOMING FORWARD TESTING
We will begin our Wisconsin Forward testing this week. We are scheduled to test on the mornings of April 16th, 17th, and 18th.
To set students up for success, please remind them to get a good night's sleep and eat breakfast. They will also need the following:
Wired earbuds (bluetooth headphones are not allowed during testing)
Fully charged iPad
Also, a reminder to students, no cellphones or smartwatches are allowed in the room during testing.
The Forward Exam is designed to gauge how well students are doing in relation to the Wisconsin Academic Standards. These standards outline what students should know and be able to do to be on track for college and career readiness. This exam is used by the state of Wisconsin as a measure of how well schools are performing academically. Therefore, it is critical that our students give their very best effort, and that as many students as possible participate in the exam.
Thank you in advance for your help and cooperation to make the Forward exam a success at Lineville! We very much appreciate your support.

SOCIAL WORK CORNER
Our district team of school social workers has put together a fantastic summary of school and community resources. Our school social worker, Bobbi Nowaczyk (Miss Bobbi), would be happy to communicate with you further if/as/when needed. She can be reached via email at bobbnowa@hssdschools.org; or her cell phone: 920-714-1437.
As we enter into a new fiscal year, we challenge you to ask yourself "what small thing can I do each day to take care of myself so that I can show up for other people"? Oftentimes as caretakers, we get stuck in the "busy" of our child(ren)'s schedules, events, etc. Our hope for you is that you can find something small: whether that is taking 10 minutes to go on a walk, taking 5 extra minutes in the shower, or diving into a book you always wanted to read. Find ONE point of joy in your life.
As always, if you are in need of assistance, support, or coaching from a school social worker, we are here for you every step of the way!
