IMPORTANT: Please note that our previous salary schedule did not include a Step 1, but our current one does. As such, if you were hired prior to finalization of the new contract, your step placement on the new salary schedule will be one step lower than the estimated salary placement you received at hiring. Please rest assured, your step placement in terms of experience credited hasn't been reduced.

Other updates of note from the new contract:
- Added language affirming our commitment to inclusion and non-discrimination
- Added option for educators to work remotely on grading days and non-student days that don't require in-person meetings
- Increased prep time for all educators to a minimum of 70 minutes per day
- Established that educators who participate in student meetings during their prep time will be paid their per diem rate or receive comp time
- Provided 24 hours of paid workload relief time for educators who are responsible for preparing IEPs
