A Weekly Newsletter for Warrior Families and Students
November 1, 2024
Greetings Warrior Families and Friends,
This past week has been full of many amazing experiences for our students at MHS. Last Saturday our girls cross country team won a VERY close sectional race at Lake Denoon MS to qualify for state and the boy's cross country team saw Parker Fons qualify as an individual. Congrats to all qualified athletes - your hard work and focus paid off! Another exciting moment was at the SySTEMnow Awards show where our female robotics competitors were awarded with a STEMMY award for hosting a huge TWIST (Together, women in STEM thrive) event. Amazing what these kids are doing - so impressive.
Seeing the success our students have every day in activities (like above), in learning complex math, or speaking in front of an entire class reminds me how important it is for us to encourage our students to take advantage of the opportunities and to take healthy risks. These opportunities lead to amazing accomplishments and growth. The growth happens even when the end outcome isn't something "big". Encourage your student to take advantage of the opportunity. Remind them that the work and the risk is worth it.
Have an amazing weekend!
Go, Warriors!

Upcoming FBLA fundraisers
Muskego FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is hosting a couple of fundraisers that we would love to focus your attention on. Our officer team is looking to raise money for the Alzheimer Association and increase event attendance.
One of our upcoming events is the Mother-Son Dance which will be hosted on November 2nd. We ask you to help us by spreading the message to anyone who might be interested in attending. All of the proceeds from this event will go back to our fundraising efforts for FBLA competitions and chapter expenses. Please view the graphic below if you or a loved one is interested in this event.
Our chapter has set a goal to raise $5000 district-wide for the Alzheimer's Association. This money will help to find a cure for Alzheimer's, a deadly condition that affects millions. If you are willing to donate to the cause, please stop in the Warriors Warehouse to make an in-person donation or you can donate virtually through the link below.
Muskego FBLA thanks you for your time and support!
