Each student is assigned to a graduating class based on the number of credits earned. This grade classification is determined twice a year: 1) August (after Summer School is complete) and 2) February (after 1st semester credits are known).
Letters about grade classification should be viewable in Parent Vue.
Link to Credit Chart: (see button below)
No Credit on the Transcript or 4th mp Report Card?
Underclassmen who have 10+ absences for the second semester received an Attendance Appeal during SRT (with directions on how to complete) on Thursday, May 16 with a deadline for completion on Friday, May 31st.
Reasons Why Students May Have an "NC" (No Credit) on Transcript
1) Failure to return the Attendance appeal will return in a loss of credit for classes.
2) Student did not score a C+ or better on the semester exam.
3) Attendance Appeal was denied for lack of documentation.
Students whose Attendance Appeal is not granted will be offered an Attendance Plan. These are typically placed in the envelope with the final transcript and needs to be signed and returned to be in effect.
9 Week Attendance Plan (8/20/24 to End of October, 2024)
1. Students who didn't get a C+ on the semester exam,
2. Students who don't return an Attendance Appeal,
3. Students whose Attendance Plan was NOT granted (lack of documentation, insufficient into, etc.)
The PLAN requires students to have no unexcused absences and no more than 3 tardies total for all classes combined for a 9-week period when school is in session (essentially the length of a marking period).
Remember: Having credit on hold during an Attendance Plan can impact credit standing, athletic eligibility, class standing, GPA, transcripts, etc. until the PLAN requirements have been met.
Underclassmen Obligations - Take Care of Obligations Before Schedule Pick up in August
Obligations - Take Care of Before Schedule Pick-up in August
Time to return textbooks, library books, district issued Chromebooks (if you plan to leave the district) as well as make good on any Athletic pay to participate, yearbook late fees, Library books or cafeteria obligations prior to the conclusion of the school year.
Obligation notices will be mailed the 2nd week of June with the transcript. Obligations not settled could impact schedule pick-up in mid-August.

Parchment for Transcripts
Parents and students can easily access transcripts by utilizing Parchment. This online resources allows families/students to request, send, and, store transcripts. It also includes powerful tools to research colleges and admissions. We advise NOT to use school email addresses during the registration process, as there may be a need to access this resource beyond high school years.
To access Parchment, please follow these steps:
1. Login/ Register - Sign in at www.parchment.com and click Sign Up to log in or register.
2. Add School - Click Get Started, and add high school(s).
3. Select Destinations- Select destinations such as colleges, NCAA, Common Application, or yourself, and review your selection.
4. Provide Consent- Complete waiver form and e-sign the transcript authorization form.
5. Payment - Provide debit/credit card payment if fees are required.
6. Track Order - Order Status will be emailed and updated in Parchment account.
College Board
Please take a moment to create a College Board account (if you haven't already done so). This resource allows students and families the ability to access PSAT, SAT, and AP scores online, as well as send scores to colleges and universities.
Additionally, students that wish to sign up for the SAT and CLEP exams can register using this resource. Please be sure to keep your login information available for every year in high school!
To create an account please follow these steps:
1. Be sure to have your email address, expected graduation date, and high school(s) name ready.
2. Go to www.collegeboard.org.
3. Click Sign Up.
4. Select I am a Student.
5. Create a username and password (Again keep his information in a safe place to reference).
Matching Student Scores to College Board Account
If a student is signed into their College Board account but does not see their scores, it may be that College Board was not able to link the student’s College Board account and score report automatically.
For security reasons, a student must verify additional information before scores can be displayed. Students will need the UIC (Unique Identifier Code - available from office) with which they were pre-identified.
To establish a match, the student will:
1. Log into their College Board account (https://prod. idp.collegeboard.org/).
2. Select the Matching Tool
3. Follow the instructions on the screen
4. Select one of the following options: - I can supply my student UIC.
In some cases, students may not be able to view their scores using the steps above. For instance, if the student has inconsistent information on file, multiple College Board accounts, or unreleased scores, the steps above may not resolve the discrepancy.
Contact College Board’s Student SAT Helpline at 866-870-3127 and select Option 2 for additional troubleshooting assistance.

Are your children safe while online? Michigan families, especially minors, are becoming inundated with advertisements from alcohol, tobacco, pornography, illegal drugs and gambling marketers through different internet and cell phone inboxes. To reduce these influences on youth, the State of Michigan offers a free program to stop adult advertisements from reaching e-mails, text messages, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter. The Michigan Child Protection Registry, like the federal Do Not Call List, is a free do-not-contact service for Michigan’s families and can be located at www.ProtectMIChild.com."

Health & Wellness
Connecting Kids to Healthcare Coverage
Does your student/child strain to read a screen? Do you have a student/child with a chronic health condition that keeps them from being on time to school or causes them to miss days? Does your student/child lack health care coverage or have an untreated health condition. Did you know that health conditions are the leading cause of school truancy?
