Kindergarten students took a little time on stage during morning devotion to present their Thanksgiving program and remind us of why we are thankful.

Despite the short week, students and teachers worked hard in every spare moment to get in some more lessons before the holiday break.

Preschoolers worked on a one-of-a-kind tablecloth for their Thanksgiving feast.

Upper school drama and chorus students squeezed in one more practice for the Christmas show before leaving to serve at local ministries on Serve Day.

Life Skills students had a little old fashioned fun with board games and their devices stayed at rest while they waited for teams to go out for Serve Day.

Parent volunteers have been working to make the Beech campus festive with Christmas decor.

After a day of serving, upper school students enjoyed a little pizza for lunch before joining together for prayer over the packed meals.

Lower School PE classes will be doing the school Hoop Shoot contest in December.

The age divisions are: 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13.

School winners for each division will move on to compete in the area competition. The area competition will be held at Cullman Middle School mid-January.

The CCS Drama & Chorus group will be presenting A Holiday Variety Show: Jingle Bell Jamboree on Saturday, December 14th at 6:00 pm in the Depot Park campus auditorium. This event will include talent acts performed by students in grades 4-12. Admission is $5 per person (or $20 per family maximum).

Giving Tuesday is December 3rd!

This Tuesday is a great opportunity to join in on the fun of giving to others. Whether you want to give a monetary donation to a local charity, give a gift to the school, or donate your time to be a blessing to someone, this is a great way to get started.

Our annual Spelling Bee is just around the corner.

Class/grade level winners will compete on December 3rd for the school title. The school winner will move on to compete at the Cullman County Spelling Bee.

The ACEA academic testing competition exams will be the first week of December. Students who signed up will test on computer with Mrs. Yearwood.

• Upper School - December 2nd and 3rd
• Lower School - December 4th and 5th

Cullman's Christkindlmarkt is underway! This means that there will be a lot more people in the area; especially in the afternoons. Upper school parents and student drivers need to be aware of potential traffic congestion and delays in the area.

Semester Exams for students in grades 7-12 will be December 18th-20th.

• Friday, December 20: Individual Make Ups as Scheduled
