Why Education?
I have 3 younger brothers, and I have been babysitting since I was 12, so I love spending my time around younger children! I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, or at least always pursue a career with children. My mom is also a teacher, and she is my biggest role model, so I have learned so much from her and she has helped my passion for teaching grow.
Best Education Memory
In third grade, my teacher read aloud to us "Mr. Popper's Penguins" at the end of the day each day. After a few weeks when we finished the book, she had the local aquarium bring in real penguins to our school for us to meet and see! The penguins were so cute and it was such a memorable experience!
