GMS Falcon Update

Congratulations to all our students who participated in the Champaign County Science Fair last week. It takes a lot of work to complete the project, but also courage to present it to the judges, and for that we are proud. Adelyn Guidera, Alice Rogers, Colten Taylor, Piper Jacobs, Bella Black, Mackenzie Crooks, Samuel Bodey, Lily Parke, Alaina Lockwood, Hannah Smith, Lucy Rodgers, Juliana Williams, Mallorie Erter, Jenna Johnston, Carly Birchfield, Vander James, and Myles Wilson all participated.

Earning a “Superior” rating and qualifying to the Regional Science Fair at Edison State were Jenna & Carly, Mallorie, Mackenzie, and Piper.

Myles and Vander also received an award for their persistence throughout their project.

This year, Graham Middle School students raised a considerable amount of money for their future Washington DC trips. The event continues to grow in student participation, but also in donations brought in. Check out the trend in pledges secured by our students!

7th and 8th graders interested in track and field, we had information available at lunch Wednesday. If your student missed that information for any reason, please have them come grab a packet outside the office. Practices start next Monday, March 3rd!

Students all have access to Progress Book via their Clever logins. Parents can access through the same login they would have used last year. Any new families should have received an access key on Friday via email from Mr. Guidera.

Frontline Education has released the Progress Book Parent and Student Mobile App (aka Parent Access app) to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This app is available for your parents/students to download and use now. For those that choose to download, the app takes the place of the mobile web version of Parent Access that parents and students have long used. In addition, Frontline has produced an overview video that can be shared with your users.
