Where did February go?? The month has ended along with several activities like our RamPacks food drive, Book Fair and the sports seasons of both the ice hockey and basketball teams, with their final matchups completed.

Forecasts say March may come in like a lion, with colder weather returning on the weekend after this week's sneak peak of spring. We'll trust if we do see the lion ushering in March, then we can look forward to a mild end of the month, going out like a lamb.

Congrats to the 2024- 2025 Middle School Ice Hockey Champions Pennridge! They played an intense game against Springfield with a final score 3-2, scoring the game winning goal with 5 minutes left in the 3rd period. Congrats to our south players Owen Trainer, Ryan (RJ) Dando and Patrick Ryan. Thanks to the principals and families who came out to support the team, definitely brought them good luck!

Mr. Clark, Mr. Donaldson, and Mr. Renner treated the staff today to donuts and coffee/tea and delivered the sweet treats to their classrooms. It's just one way of showing their appreciation to their dedicated staff. Yum!

Students in 7th grade FCS class learned some techniques on how to garnish a plate to make it look more appealing, such as how to fan a strawberry. They then had an opportunity to apply these skills and use their creativity to come up with some artistic creations using the muffins they made in the food lab. After the plating was complete, students voted for their favorite plate. Gianna Bruns and Lilly Small were voted to have the best plates by their peers. Congratulations to both girls!

Spring is right around the corner and room 109 (The Autistic Support Classroom) is getting excited about our Autism Walk! Our Autistic Support Classroom is selling T-Shirts for a fundraiser. Please see this order form. Completed order forms and payment are due back to your student homeroom teacher or room 109 by Thursday March 20th. If a student does purchase a shirt, this will be their ticket for the Autism Walk on Friday, April 11th. If they choose not to purchase a shirt, they will need to pay $1 to join us for the walk.

The musical is rated G with a run time of about 1 hour 5 minutes plus a 20 minute intermission. It is the musical comedy retelling of the classic fairytale The Princess & the Pea.

South's Unified Bocce Ball team had its first competition this week against North MS and Central MS. Our students had a great time and were strong competitors! They have two more competitions in March.
